Cocktail Recipe: Cuban Mojito
Ingredients.
10 fresh mint leaves (In Cuba peppermint is used, so I recommend the peppermint)
2 tablespoons white sugar, or to taste
1 cup ice cubes
1 1/2 fluid ounces white rum
1/2 cup club soda
Preparation.
Grab a glass, throw in the mint leaves or peppermint and macerate them to release the mint oil (be careful with the glass please and leave the mint leaves).
Add the sugar and ice.
Add the white rum. (I recommend Bacardí or Havana Club, those are the one used in Cuba)
Add the soda water.
Please don’t add lemon!!! The lemon is seldom used in Cuba…
